Concierge Services Job Description
Our Concierge team are in place to make life easier for our client’s customers. They will assist in arranging local dining reservations, making recommendations for dining and entertainment, ensuring customers have the directions to their destination within a client’s building, arranging accommodations, recommending local dining and entertainment, and making reservations. The ideal candidate will ensure the needs of customers are met and provide outstanding customer service with a helpful demeanor.
Qualifications:
1+ years of previous customer service experience
Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal communication skills are essential
Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued
Knowledge of basic office equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Competent working with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
Ability to speak a second language is an asset
Willing to work irregular shifts and weekends
Must be 18 years or older
Calm, polite, and professional behavior
Reliable and self-motivated
Must be willing to work any shift.
High Level customer service
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Responsibilities:
Greeting guests/customers warmly and make them feel welcome and attended
Manage guest/customer complaints
Taking messages
Managing mail, luggage, and deliveries
Perform basic administrative/secretarial/reception duties
Arranging transportation and excursions upon visitor request
Provide information and recommendations on local features, attractions, shopping, restaurants, dining, entertainment, nightlife, and recreation
Arranging tours and activities
Making dinner/event reservations for guests
Obtaining tickets for events
Arranging special services
Providing or arranging for general business services for guests
Managing customer/guest requests for housekeeping and/or maintenance
Answer phone and email inquiries from potential guests in a timely and respectful manner
Receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages, etc.
Ensure that guest spaces and lobby are always clean and tidy
Act as a liaison between guests and any department necessary including the kitchen, housekeeping, etc.
Anticipate guests needs to accommodate them and provide an exceptional guest experience
Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
Develop network of contacts, service providers and businesses within their communities to serve guests
